A Milestone Year: My First Juried Art Exhibitions in the United States

2026 has already become a memorable year in my artistic journey. As a watercolor artist, there is something incredibly special about seeing your work leave the studio and connect with viewers in a gallery setting. This year, I had the honor of participating in two significant exhibitions in Florida, each marking an important milestone in my career.
My First Juried Exhibition in the United States
In January, I participated in the 35th Juried Art Show by Martin Art, held in Stuart, Florida.
This exhibition was particularly meaningful because it was not only my first exhibition in the United States, but also my first juried art show ever. Having my work selected by a jury of art professionals was both exciting and encouraging.
My watercolor painting “Golden Silence” was chosen for the exhibition and remained on display for nearly two months in the beautiful gallery space. The painting features a luminous iris flower and a bird glowing in warm sunlight against a dramatic dark background. It explores the interplay of light and shadow, stillness and movement, and the quiet beauty found in nature.
Seeing visitors stop to observe the painting and engage with its details was an unforgettable experience. It reminded me why I create art—to inspire moments of reflection, wonder, and connection.
A Vision for Art – Jacksonville
My second exhibition of the year was A Vision for Art, which opened in April in Jacksonville, Florida.
This show brought together an impressive group of talented artists working across a variety of styles and mediums. I was honored to have seven watercolor paintings selected for the exhibition.
One of the highlights of the event was the beautifully produced printed catalog featuring all participating artists and their work. It was inspiring to see such a diverse collection of artistic voices represented in one publication and exhibition.
The show provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow artists, meet art lovers, and share my watercolor paintings with a broader audience. Exhibiting alongside so many accomplished creators was both motivating and rewarding.
Looking Ahead
These two exhibitions represent important milestones in my career and have encouraged me to continue pursuing larger and more ambitious projects.
From my studio in Florida, I continue to create large-scale floral and nature-inspired watercolor paintings that celebrate beauty, light, and the quiet elegance of the natural world.
I am deeply grateful to the organizations, curators, fellow artists, collectors, friends, and family who support my creative journey.
Here’s to many more exhibitions, new paintings, and exciting opportunities ahead.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
